WHICH RACES ARE THE BEST TO BET ON
Any race with Prize Money of $50,000 or higher is a good race because all trainers want to win the Money. All horses are sent out to try generally and every Punter wants their selection to try hard because they have invested their hard earned money on it. Generally the lower the prize money the more chance that your horse may be going around for a glorified barrier trial as preparation for something better in the near future.

DOES THE TOP SELECTION WIN MOST OF THE TIME
No of course not. The PR column (Profiler Rating) is an overall rating based on each runners' history. It's more of a general quality rating but that does not guarantee a win. What if it is in a wide barrier and gets caught wide and forced to cover too much ground? What if it's NOT a GRP A runner? What if today's Jockey is aboard for the first time and is unfamiliar with his mount's habits? What if the horse is well outside of today's Winning Range? What if it doesn't like today's track conditions? The list goes on but remember that the PR is just one factor and is only as good as the scores of other columns. Make sure that all columns have a reasonable score.

HOW IMPORTANT IS THE MAP COLUMN
The MAP column is very important. This is Profiler's Minimum Acceptable Price and you should never take less than this price as a win dividend. If you do take less then you are getting mugged and you will be a mug if you do take less than Profiler's MAP from any betting shop. We have found over the past twenty years that a price well over Profiler's MAP is a great each way bet. Many times Profiler has had a GRP A runner with a MAP of $5.00 and if the price on offer is $10.00 or more, these horses are given every chance to stretch out at the right time by their riders and finish either First, second or third. Jockeys love to ride winners that are paying a win dividend in double figures and seem to try harder. If other Trainers see a Jockey riding a 15/1 runner into the placings they take notice and are anxios to employ them.

WHAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT COLUM
The GRP is the most important because the GRP A runners are usually the best horses in the field. Generally they are the best suited to their race and they have the best Profile to finish First, Second or third.
